- Building a modern electronic medical records (EMR) platform designed for clinics and hospitals across Africa, covering patient registration, appointment scheduling, clinical documentation, physician workflow management, and operational analytics.
- Architecting the core system around modular clinical workflows—intake, triage, consultation, lab orders, prescriptions, and discharge—so facilities can adopt modules incrementally without replacing existing processes overnight.
- Designing the data layer to handle patient records, clinical notes, medication histories, and appointment graphs with strict access controls and audit logging to meet healthcare data handling requirements.
- Leading product direction, technical architecture, and early user research with clinic administrators and physicians to validate workflow assumptions before building features.
Building for healthcare in resource-constrained environments means every architectural decision has to account for unreliable connectivity, shared devices, and clinical staff with minimal technical training. The hardest problem is not building the software—it is understanding workflows well enough to simplify them without breaking clinical safety.
